The 888 Poker download for Windows is quick and easy to install. On most computers you should be up and running with ten minutes.
- From the 888 Poker web site, click on “Download Poker”. It is recommended that you “save” the file to your computer and then run the 888 Poker download from the .exe file. When the .exe file has been saved, double click the file to start.
- Before the installation wizard starts, you will be asked to read and accept the software licensing agreement. This is very similar to the 888 Poker terms and conditions, but should be read thoroughly before continuing.

On most computers running Windows software you can discover the processor speed and memory size (RAM) by right-clicking on the computer icon in the control panel. How much space you have available on your computer can be established by right-clicking on “Local Disc (C)”.

888 Poker No Download Alternatives
888 Poker can be played in a normal web browser without the need to download the poker client, but the experience is not quite as good. To access the “Flash” version of the game, click on the “instant play” link which appears below the “Download Poker Now” banner. As well as inferior graphics and slower gameplay, the Flash version of the 888 Poker software does not allow you to access the innovative “PokerCam” tables, save favourite tables or set up your own private games. Furthermore some firewalls or proxy servers can block the flash version of the poker site meaning that you will have to change some of the settings on your computer if you experience difficulties with the no download alternative.
Inasmuch as the “Instant Play” version of the 888 Poker software is acceptable for a quick game of poker, it is not as good as the full 888 Poker download, and the extra time spent setting up the programme is very much worthwhile.
